Daytrotter

One of my favorite places to get music online is Daytrotter. You can go here and download sessions of songs by bands that are recorded live. I’ve found amazing things there and recommend everyone to check it out and especially look at the archives for all bands that have stopped by.

When I was there downloading the sessions by About (free songs here) I saw the counter of total songs served at 499,999 when I downloaded the first song and the next song it was at 500,001. I’m going to conclude there is a damn good chance I was the one to get that 500,000th song and it really makes me feel special. Best of luck to them in the future as I thoroughly enjoy discovering new music and bands I already know and love.
